What should I bring to my first visit?
Previous prescriptions, test reports, hearing tests, CT or MRI scans (with the CDs), a list of current medicines, and your insurance or Ayushman card if you have one.
Does the doctor see children?
Yes. Children of all ages are seen for ear infections, adenoids, tonsils, snoring and hearing concerns. See pediatric ENT care.
Which tests can be done at the clinic?
Commonly done tests include ear and nasal endoscopy, laryngoscopy, hearing tests (audiometry, tympanometry, OAE) and allergy tests. Scans are arranged when needed.
Will I need surgery?
Most ENT problems are treated with medicines. Surgery is advised only when there is a clear reason, and the options, risks and recovery are explained before you decide.
How much does ENT surgery cost?
The cost depends on the procedure, the type of anaesthesia, the hospital stay and whether insurance or Ayushman Bharat applies. A clear estimate is given after the consultation and tests.
Is ENT surgery covered under Ayushman card?

What should I do in an ENT emergency at night?
For heavy nosebleeds, breathing difficulty, severe throat swelling, a button battery in the ear or nose, or sudden dizziness with weakness or slurred speech, go to the nearest hospital emergency immediately.
